為香港老人家提供ICTs服務的步伐有點落後

Hong Kong Government has already launched a project to provide some ICTs services for elderly since 2012 in order to enhance social inclusion and enlarge their social network. Unfortunately, the project, until 2015, was still under consultation and focused on a small portion of the elderly with the public which significantly influenced the development of ICTs for them. Comparatively, the similar service provided by other countries concentrated on entire ageing population. However, currently, the elderly service on ICTs still remain some assistances delivered on the day-care centre but not have any development on individual capability. It is necessary to reflect how the government launched similar pilot programs and services for them in the foreseeable future. To enhance the service quality, the government may be able to consult or review the service before promulgating the coming future plan.
